Wilfrid Laurier University (WLU) is a public higher education institution founded in 1911. The University was named after the seventh Prime Minister of Canada, Sir Wilfrid Laurier. The main campus is located in Waterloo (1.5 hours to Toronto). In addition to Waterloo, the university has four more campuses in different cities of the province of Ontario, including Toronto.
WLU offers more than 80 bachelor, master, and postgraduate degree programs and has 25 research centers and institutes. The university is particularly proud of its own business incubator, LaunchPad, located at the Faculty of Business and Economics. Here, students and graduates of the university receive free support, supervision, and resources to implement and develop their own startups and social projects. The incubator also serves as a free workplace for students.

In addition, the university Faculty of Music is considered one of the most prestigious in the world. It offers the world's only master's degree program in music therapy.
