University of Pecs

The city of Pec, where the university is located, has been an important cultural and educational center since the time of the Roman Empire and is proud of its diverse past and present. Pec is located about 200 km from Budapest, the capital of Hungary, 180 km from Zagreb (Croatia), 300 km from Vienna (Austria) and 800 km from Berlin (Germany).

The University of Pecs was founded in 1367, making it the first university in the country.

As an applicant, you can choose from over 90 majors in international academic programs (foundation, Bachelor's, Master's, doctoral). Most of the training programs are conducted in English, but some programs are also available in German, Russian, French, Spanish, and Italian. The University has 10 faculties that cover almost all aspects of modern academic science, including business, law, natural sciences, humanities, art, music, education, engineering, information technology and medicine. In Hungary, only 4 universities offer medical programs, and one of them is the University of Pec.
